John J. Vento Jr., CPA has worked at our firm for more than a decade and came on board full-time in 2017. In 2022, he became a partner in the firm and currently leads the CPA division, John J. Vento, CPA, PC. He passed the Series 7 exam to earn his securities license at the age of 18 and went on to graduate from Quinnipiac University with undergraduate degrees in accounting and finance. John Jr. worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for three years before returning to Vento Tax & Wealth Management Group and later earned his designation as a certified public accountant.
Since returning to the firm, John Jr. completed his master’s degree in taxation from Rutgers University, which advanced his knowledge and the quality of the advice delivered to clients. In recent years, he has served as the firm’s subject matter expert on continuously changing tax laws and helped position Vento Tax & Wealth Management Group as the go-to resource for tax-smart advice.
